Description
The Limpwurt root is a tradeable item in RuneScape 3. It is the root of a limpwurt plant. Herblore players use it to make potions that boost strength.
Mix a limpwurt root with a Tarromin potion (unfinished) to make a Strength potion. Mix it with a Kwuarm potion (unfinished) to make a Super strength potion at level 55 Herblore. You can also take a limpwurt root, red spiders' eggs, and 5 coins to the Apothecary in western Varrock. He will make you a 4-dose Strength potion.
Getting these roots on your own takes time. Growing them needs level 26 Farming and limpwurt seeds planted in a flower patch. Each grown plant gives three roots. Many monsters drop them too, but farming drops is slow.
Buying limpwurt roots in bulk saves you all that work. Stock up and train Herblore without waiting on farm runs. The roots are noteable, so they are easy to keep in your bank. They can also be used in a compost bin or broken down for Organic parts in Invention. Limpwurt roots are a smart pick for any player who wants strength potions ready to go.
