The limpwurt seed is a seed for the Farming skill in RuneScape 3. You can plant it in a flower patch or the Wilderness flower patch. You need level 26 Farming to use it. One seed fills one patch.
The plant takes 20 minutes to grow. It grows in four stages of five minutes each. When it is done, you can harvest three limpwurt roots. If you have the Practiced Farmer rank at the Farming Guild, your yield doubles to six roots. There is also a small chance to get harmony moss when you harvest.
Planting the seed gives 21.5 Farming experience. Harvesting gives 120 Farming experience. The plant can get sick, so adding compost, supercompost, or ultracompost to the patch before planting helps stop disease. A healthy plant is brown. A sick plant is bright green.
This seed is one of the most valuable standard flower seeds. It also helps with two achievements. Harvesting limpwurts near Port Phasmatys completes an easy Morytania task. Harvesting them in the Western Ruins completes a hard Wilderness task. It is a good pick for players training Farming or gathering limpwurt roots.
