Buy RS3 Magma core

Description

The magma core is a rare item in RuneScape 3. It drops from TzKal-Zuk in hard mode, a boss with a combat level of 14,000. It is one of the three parts needed to make the Ek-ZekKil, a powerful weapon. Source lore calls it the molten heart of a legendary sword.

To make the Ek-ZekKil, you combine the magma core with an Obsidian blade and an Ancient hilt. This needs level 95 Divination and gives 1,200 Divination experience. Getting the core yourself is hard, since the drop rate is about 1 in 90 or 1 in 81.

The magma core is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack. It cannot be disassembled or turned into coins with alchemy. With level 95 Divination, you can also transmute it. Using 25,000 Incandescent energy plus an Obsidian blade or an Ancient hilt, you can turn those parts into a magma core, or turn a core into one of them. Each transmutation gives 32.6 Divination experience.

Buying a magma core is a fast way to skip a long boss grind and get closer to owning the Ek-ZekKil.
