Description

The RS3 Obsidian blade is a large blade of obsidian that belongs to a legendary sword. It is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. Players want this blade because it is one of the parts needed to make the Ek-ZekKil weapon.

To build the Ek-ZekKil, combine the Obsidian blade with a Magma core and an Ancient hilt. This craft needs level 95 Divination and gives 1,200 experience. You can craft it right from the backpack interface.

The blade drops from TzKal-Zuk in hard mode at a rate of 1 in 90, or 1 in 81 with better luck mechanics. TzKal-Zuk is a very tough boss with a combat level of 14,000, so this drop is rare and valuable.

The Obsidian blade is tradeable and noteable. It cannot be alchemised or disassembled, and it cannot be worn on its own. It only works as a weapon part. With level 95 Divination and 25,000 Incandescent energy, you can also transmute the blade into the Magma core or Ancient hilt, or turn those pieces into the blade. Each transmutation gives 32.6 Divination experience.
