Description

Maple logs are a common resource in RuneScape 3. Players get them by cutting maple trees, which need level 40 Woodcutting. Each log gives 100 Woodcutting experience when cut. Large amounts can also come from Managing Miscellania.

Maple logs are great for training Firemaking. Burning one needs level 45 and gives 135 experience with a standard fire. On a bonfire, the experience scales from 135 up to 175 as your level grows. Maple log fires stay lit for 3.5 minutes. The logs also work for pyre ships and pyre logs.

Fletchers use maple logs too. At level 45 a log makes 30 arrow shafts. At level 50 it makes a maple shortbow, and at level 55 a maple shieldbow. At level 54 it makes maple stocks, which can be turned into mithril crossbows with a mithril limb.

Maple logs can be transmuted into yew logs with Divination. Many players also disassemble them for Simple parts, which are used to make Divine charges. The logs are tradeable and free to play, so any player can stock up and start training right away.
