Description

Arrow shafts are the first part of making arrows in RuneScape 3. They are used in the Fletching skill. Add 15 feathers to 15 arrow shafts at level 1 Fletching to make headless arrows. This gives 15 Fletching experience. You cannot attach arrowheads to a shaft without feathers first.

Arrow shafts are stackable and tradeable, and they weigh nothing. This means a full stack takes up only one inventory space. They can also be disassembled. You can even combine one with a spider carcass to make a spider on shaft.

Players can cut arrow shafts from logs with a knife. Normal logs need level 1 Fletching and give 15 shafts. Better logs give more shafts and more experience. Oak logs give 20, willow logs give 25, and maple or acadia logs give 30. Yew logs give 35, magic logs give 40, and elder logs give 45 for members at level 90.

Buying arrow shafts saves you the time it takes to cut logs yourself. This lets you jump straight into making headless arrows and training your Fletching skill. They are a simple item that every fletcher needs in large amounts.
