Description
The Masterwork ranged chaps are tier 100 ranged power armour for the legs slot in RuneScape 3. They are part of the masterwork ranged armour set, the strongest craftable ranged armour in the game. You need level 99 Defence to wear them.
The chaps give 608.3 armour, a 31.2 ranged damage bonus, a 1425 life point bonus, and a 2 prayer bonus. They can be augmented at an Invention workbench with an augmentor and 36 divine charges.
Wearing three or more masterwork ranged pieces gives the set bonus. For each piece worn, 10% of incoming damage is delayed and dealt over the next 6 seconds. With all five pieces, that rises to 50%. This effect also works in PvP and helps players survive heavy hits.
The chaps degrade over 100,000 charges of combat and can be repaired with a masterwork monochromatic dragon leather. You can also have them custom-fit at the Crafting Guild. This doubles their charges to 200,000 and stops degrade damage from Slayer targets, Soul Reaper bosses, and Elite Dungeon monsters, but it makes them untradeable.
