Description

Masterwork sinew is a crafting item in RuneScape 3. Players use it to make masterwork ranged armour, the strongest craftable ranged armour in the game. It is members-only, tradeable, and stackable. It weighs nothing and is always kept on death.

Players with level 110 Crafting can spin 10 masterwork sinew at a spinning wheel. This takes 10 thread, 2 sinew, and 2 apex sinew. The achievement "It Should Have Been Called Chinskin" must be done first. Buying masterwork sinew lets players skip this slow spinning step.

A full set of masterwork ranged armour needs 1,200 masterwork sinew. The body takes 500, the chaps take 300, the cowl takes 200, and the boots and vambraces take 100 each. The cosmetic masterwork ranged cape needs 50 more.

The finished armour is power armour with big life point bonuses. A full set gives 4,750 life points and over 2,000 armour. Wearing three or more pieces also gives a set bonus that delays part of the damage a player takes and spreads it out over six seconds. Masterwork sinew is a key material for any ranger who wants this top-tier gear.
