Description

The Mithril grapple tip is a small item in RuneScape 3. It is the key part used to make a mithril grapple. A mithril grapple lets players use special grapple shortcuts across the game world.

To make a grapple, attach the tip to a mithril bolt. This needs level 59 Fletching and gives 11 Fletching experience. Then use a rope on the unfinished grapple to finish it. The complete grapple goes in the ammo slot and works with any crossbow or salamander. Free players can make and use mithril grapples too.

Grapple shortcuts save time on many routes. Players can cross the River Lum from Lumbridge Swamp to Al Kharid, climb the Falador wall, or scale the Catherby cliff to Taverley. Higher level spots include the Bandos Agility Course and the Prifddinas Waterfall Fishing cliff face.

Grapples can break on rare occasions, so it is smart to keep more than one tip on hand. The tip weighs almost nothing at 0.001 kg. It can be traded, noted, and disassembled. It is not a members-only item and is not tied to any quest.
