Description
Mithril seeds are fun items in RuneScape 3 that grow flowers of a random color. When you plant one, a flower appears under your feet and you step to the side. You can then pick the flower up or leave it. If you leave it, the flower stays for 5 minutes before it goes away.
Flowers come in many colors. You can get red, blue, yellow, purple, orange, mixed, pastel, black, or white. White and black flowers are the most rare. To keep a flower, you must plant the seed yourself and pick it up after a prompt.
The flowers are not just for show. They are used in the Summoning skill to make praying mantis pouches. This makes mithril seeds useful for players who train Summoning.
The seeds cannot be taken onto Entrana. Only the case that holds the seeds is made of mithril, so you cannot smith them from mithril bars. These seeds are not part of the Farming skill.
Mithril seeds are also a classic part of RuneScape history. Many players plant them in Falador on 6 June each year to remember the famous Falador Massacre.
