The nasturtium seed is a Farming seed in RuneScape 3. Plant it in a flower patch to grow nasturtium flowers. You need level 24 Farming to plant it.

Nasturtiums are useful for more than just flowers. A fully grown nasturtium plant left in the patch protects nearby watermelons from disease. This makes it a smart pick when you grow watermelons in the allotments around it. You also need one nasturtium flower bunch to pay a farmer to protect a wildblood hops patch.

The seed grows fast. It takes 20 minutes to reach full growth, with four stages of 5 minutes each. Planting gives 19.5 Farming experience, and harvesting gives 111 experience. Only one seed is needed per planting. Keep in mind that a nearby gardener will not watch over growing nasturtiums, so check the patch yourself.
