Description
Nasturtiums are a flower in RuneScape 3. Players grow them from nasturtium seeds in a flower patch. You need level 24 Farming to plant them. Each harvest gives Farming experience, so they are a nice way to train the skill.
Nasturtiums do more than look pretty. When they grow in a flower patch, they protect watermelons in nearby allotment patches from disease. Farmers will also watch over your growing wildblood hops if you pay them with one nasturtium. This makes the flower handy for anyone who farms a lot.
These flowers have other uses too. You can mix nasturtiums with anchovy oil to make imp repellent. You can also place them in beehives at the player-owned farm to create runny honeycomb. Players who use the Invention skill can disassemble nasturtiums for materials like organic parts.
Nasturtiums can be grown at flower patches south of Falador, west of Port Phasmatys, north of Catherby, and north of Ardougne. Buying them saves you the time it takes to plant seeds and wait for them to grow. That means more time for the fun parts of the game.
