Description
The Necronium mattock is a tool in RuneScape 3 used for the Archaeology skill. It needs level 70 Archaeology to use. Players dig with it to carefully uncover and excavate artefacts at dig sites. It works well for mid to high level excavation spots.
This mattock has 50 precision and 4 focus. These stats match the dragon mattock, so it digs just as well. It cannot be augmented, and it has no upgrade version. You can wield it in the weapon slot or add it to your tool belt to save space in your bag.
The mattock is a members only item and it can be traded. It cannot be bought from a store. Players make it at an anvil or forge with two necronium bars and a hammer. Making it needs level 70 Smithing and gives 1,000 Smithing experience.
It can also be taken apart with the Invention skill. It gives 8 materials, often base parts, head parts, and spiked parts. It can rarely give heavy or direct components. The mattock weighs almost nothing at 0.01 kg, and it high alchs for 4,500 coins.
