Description

The oak shieldbow (unstrung) is a Fletching item in RuneScape 3. Players cut it from oak logs at level 25 Fletching and gain 25 experience. It can then be strung with a bowstring at the same level for another 25 experience. This makes a finished oak shieldbow.

This item is a solid pick for players training Fletching at lower levels. High level fletchers do not use it much, but it gives good experience early on. Stringing oak shieldbows can also be used as a money-making method.

The finished oak shieldbow is a tier 10 ranged weapon. It needs level 10 Ranged and level 10 Defence to wield. Like all shieldbows, it counts as a shield, so it gives armour and life point bonuses and works with Defence abilities such as Rejuvenate. It has an attack range of 8 spaces.

The unstrung version is tradeable and noteable. It cannot be equipped and does not stack. It weighs 1.332 kg. It can also be disassembled under the Shieldbows category for 3.6 experience, giving 4 materials such as Stave parts, Flexible parts, Tensile parts, Precise components, and Strong components.
