Description

Oak logs are a low level resource in RuneScape 3. They come from oak trees, which players cut with the Woodcutting skill. Oak logs are free-to-play, tradeable, and noteable, so they are easy to buy, sell, and store.

These logs are great for training skills. With level 15 Firemaking, players can burn them for 60 experience each, or 85 experience on a bonfire. With Fletching, they can be cut into 20 arrow shafts at level 20, an oak shortbow at level 20, or an oak shieldbow at level 25.

Oak logs also matter for Construction. Members can turn them into oak planks at the Fort Forinthry sawmill, or pay Bill 250 coins per plank. The Lunar spell Plank Make can convert them too. Oak planks are a common way to train Construction, so oak logs stay in demand.

The logs have other uses as well. Each log gives 2 charges on the balloon transport system. They can also be disassembled for Simple parts, with a small chance of Living components.
