The off-hand steel crossbow is a ranged weapon in RuneScape 3. It is the off-hand match to the steel crossbow. You wear it in your off-hand slot and use it with a main-hand weapon for dual wielding. It is free-to-play, so any player can use it.

You need level 20 Ranged to equip it. It is a tier 20 weapon with 316 accuracy and 96 ability damage. It fires bolts, has a range of 7, and attacks at the fastest speed. It weighs 2 kg and gives no armour or defence bonuses. The item is tradeable and can be noted.

Players can also make this crossbow with the Fletching skill at level 46. It takes one steel crossbow (unstrung) and one crossbow string, and it gives 27 Fletching XP. Free players can craft it too.

If you train Invention, you can disassemble it. It gives 6 disassembly XP and 8 materials, with a 78 percent base junk chance. Possible materials include connector parts, spiked parts, tensile parts, stunning components, and dextrous components. This makes it useful for both combat and skilling.
