Description

Oyster pearls are small, round, milky-colored gems in RuneScape 3. This item holds three pearls, not just one, but it looks the same as a single oyster pearl. Players find them by opening oysters, and they are also a reward from the Sea Slug quest.

Oyster pearls are great for Fletching. With level 41 Fletching, use a chisel on them to make 24 pearl bolt tips. That is 8 tips per pearl, which is more than the 6 tips a single pearl gives. The tips attach to iron bolts to make pearl bolts.

Pearl bolts (e) deal 30 damage at level 44 Ranged. They have a 5% chance to trigger Sea Curse. This effect deals 15% more damage to enemies weak to water and stops enemies from running in PvP. At level 92, the tips can also make pearl bakriminel bolts (e), which deal 99 damage.

The item can also be disassembled for Invention. It gives Cover parts, Simple parts, Padded parts, or Variable components. Oyster pearls are a handy pick for players who want to train Fletching or craft strong water-themed ammo.
