Description
The Pernix body is a tier 80 ranged power armour piece for the body slot in RuneScape 3. It is an ancient ranger's body armour that drops from Nex in the God Wars Dungeon. You need 80 Defence and 80 Constitution to wear it.
This armour gives 389 armour, a life points bonus, a prayer bonus of 3, and a strong ranged damage bonus. That makes it a top pick for players who want to hit harder with ranged attacks at high level bosses and other tough fights.
Wearing the Pernix body also makes all factions in the God Wars Dungeon passive, except the Zarosians. This makes moving through the dungeon much safer.
The armour degrades as you fight, losing two charges per hit, but it does not get weaker as it wears down. You can repair it at certain NPCs for 2,000,000 coins, or for less at an armour stand in a player-owned house. It can be augmented with an Augmentor or combined with other Pernix pieces to form the full Pernix armour set. The item is members-only and tradeable when fully repaired or fully degraded.
