These chaps give strong stats for ranged combat. They have an armour rating of 372.6, a life points bonus of 1125, and a prayer bonus of 2. Wearing them, or any other piece of ancient armour, makes all factions in the God Wars Dungeon unaggressive. This makes it much safer to move through the dungeon.

Pernix chaps degrade over 30,000 charges of combat, losing two charges per hit. Their performance does not drop as they degrade. They can be repaired by NPCs like Bob in Lumbridge for 1,000,000 coins, or for less at an armour stand in a player-owned house based on your Smithing level.
