Description

The platinum ring is a piece of high level jewellery in RuneScape 3. It is made at a furnace with a platinum bar, a dragonstone, and a ring mould. Crafting one needs level 104 Crafting and gives 214 Crafting experience. The ring is members only, tradeable, and fits in the ring slot. On its own it has no combat stats, so it is cosmetic until it is enchanted.

The real value comes from the Lvl-5 Enchant spell. With level 68 Magic, one cosmic rune, 15 earth runes, and 15 water runes, the ring becomes a ring of retribution. That ring gives a +29.6 damage bonus to all combat styles. It also reflects some of the damage you take back at your attacker and boosts reflected damage from other sources.

The ring can also be disassembled for Invention. It counts as Jewellery, gives 31.2 disassembly experience, and yields 5 materials. These can include delicate parts, connector parts, smooth parts, precious components, and enhancing components, with no junk chance. It was added to the game on 16 June 2025 as part of the 2025 Crafting update.
