Description

Raw bass is a members-only fish in RuneScape 3. Players catch it with a big fishing net at Net and Harpoon fishing spots. It takes level 46 Fishing, and each catch gives 100 Fishing experience. Good fishing spots include Catherby, the Fishing Guild, Jatizso, Rellekka, Ape Atoll, and Burgh de Rott.

Raw bass can be cooked at level 43 Cooking. This makes cooked bass, which gives 130 Cooking experience and heals when eaten. This makes raw bass a solid pick for training Cooking or stocking up on food.

Raw bass has other uses too. Players wearing a Ring of Charos (a) can give one to Fossegrimen south of Rellekka to enchant their lyre, instead of using a raw shark. It also works in Divination transmutation, and it can be turned into raw monkfish with vibrant energy. It can be used to make fishy mush or variety mush in a trough. Players can also disassemble it, mainly for organic parts.

Raw bass is tradeable but not stackable, and it cannot be equipped. Buying raw bass in bulk saves time, since fishing them by hand is slow and the catch rate is hard to predict.
