Description

Raw salmon is a fish in RuneScape 3. Players catch it with a fly fishing rod and feathers at Lure fishing spots in rivers. Catching one needs level 30 Fishing and gives 70 Fishing experience.

Raw salmon can be cooked into salmon at level 25 Cooking. Cooking it gives 90 experience on a range or 99 experience on a fire. Players stop burning salmon at level 58 Cooking, or level 55 on the Lumbridge Castle range. Once cooked, salmon heals 9 hits when eaten. That makes it a handy food for early training and low level combat.

Raw salmon is also useful for training Cooking. Cooking a stack of these fish is a simple way to gain levels and build a supply of food at the same time.

Free players can catch this fish on the River Lum near Lumbridge or Gunnarsgrunn. Members have more spots, like Shilo Village and the Tree Gnome Stronghold. Raw salmon can also be disassembled for materials such as Organic parts and Crafted parts.

Raw salmon is tradeable and not stackable. It weighs 0.55 kg and is not a members-only item.
