The Ring of Metamorphosis is a members-only ring in RuneScape 3. It is made by enchanting an opal ring with the Lvl-1 Enchant spell. This new version comes with all 10 charges. When the charges run out, the ring crumbles to dust.

While you wear this ring, you have about a 6% chance to get double experience when you catch butterflies with your bare hands. The effect also works when catching charming moths and when gathering fungal spores from decaying Lumbridge and Varrock guards.

The double experience stacks with bonus experience and with items that boost experience, like the nimble outfit. For example, catching a black warlock gives 475 Hunter experience and 125 Agility experience. When the ring uses a charge, that doubles to 1,200 experience in one catch.

The ring gives no combat stats, armour, or life point bonuses. It is a training item made for Hunter players who want faster experience. It weighs almost nothing at 0.006 kg, so it will not slow you down. The ring is tradeable and noteable, which makes it easy to buy and carry in bulk.
