Description

Ruby bolt tips are ammo parts in RuneScape 3. Players make them by cutting rubies with a chisel at level 63 Fletching. Each ruby gives 12 bolt tips and 6.3 Fletching experience. The tips are stackable and tradeable, so they take up little space and are easy to buy and sell.

These tips attach to adamant bolts to make ruby bolts. They can also attach to Bakriminel bolts to make ruby bakriminel bolts. Ruby bolts can be enchanted at level 49 Magic. Ruby bakriminel bolts need level 95 Magic to enchant.

Enchanted ruby bolts have the Blood Forfeit effect. It has a 5% chance to trigger on a hit. When it does, the bolt deals 25% to 125% extra ability damage based on the target's life points. The player takes 5% of their own life points as recoil. This makes ruby bolts a strong pick against enemies with lots of health, such as bosses.

Ruby bolt tips can also be broken down into parts like Base parts, Head parts, Spiked parts, and Stunning components. They drop from monsters such as Warped terrorbirds, Elite Dark Rangers, and Onyx dragons.
