The rune 2h crossbow is a two-handed crossbow in RuneScape 3. It needs level 50 Ranged to wield. It is the strongest two-handed crossbow that free players can use. It fires bolts and hits targets up to 7 squares away.

This crossbow is a tier 50 weapon with 850 accuracy and higher base damage than the one-handed rune crossbow. It shoots slower, but each hit deals much more damage. It also unlocks abilities like Dazing Shot, which cannot be used with one-handed crossbows. This makes it a strong pick when defence does not matter. Since it uses both hands, you cannot hold a shield or an off-hand weapon with it.

Players with level 69 Fletching can also make this crossbow by adding a crossbow string to an unstrung rune crossbow. This gives 50 Fletching XP. The weapon weighs 4 kg.

The rune 2h crossbow can be disassembled for Invention materials. It gives 15 XP and 12 materials, such as Connector parts, Tensile parts, Crafted parts, Stunning components, and Dextrous components. It is a solid ranged weapon for mid-level players who want big hits and access to two-handed abilities.
