Description

The Rune armour set (lg) is a full set of rune armour in RuneScape 3. It comes as one item that holds four pieces: a rune full helm, a rune platebody, rune platelegs, and a rune kiteshield. The set is free-to-play and can be traded.

The set itself cannot be worn. To use the armour, unpack the set with a Grand Exchange clerk. This turns it back into the four separate pieces. You need level 50 Defence to wear the armour, and the platebody also needs the Dragon Slayer quest to be done.

Together, the four pieces give a total armour bonus of 722. The helm gives 170, the platebody gives 195, the platelegs give 187, and the kiteshield gives 170. This makes it a strong melee armour choice for free-to-play players.

Keeping the armour as a set saves bank space. One set takes up a single bank slot instead of four. This is a big help for free-to-play players who have less bank room. The set is notable but not stackable, and it cannot be alchemised or disassembled.
