Rune limbs are a key part for making a rune crossbow in RuneScape 3. They are a pair of metal crossbow limbs made from a rune bar. Players who train Fletching or want to build their own ranged weapon need this item.

With level 69 Fletching, you can attach rune limbs to a yew stock using a hammer. This makes an unstrung rune crossbow and gives 100 Fletching experience. Players can also smith rune limbs from a rune bar at Smithing level 50, which gives 240 Smithing experience.

Rune limbs are tradeable and noteable, so they are easy to move and store. They are not a members-only item, and they weigh 3 kg. They can also be broken down at an Invention workbench. Disassembly gives 15 experience and can produce useful materials like Connector parts, Tensile parts, and Dextrous components.
