Smiths make this weapon at a forge and anvil. It takes a rune longsword + 1 plus 4 more rune bars, which means 8 rune bars in total. Making it gives 960 Smithing experience. It can be upgraded one more time to a rune longsword + 3 with another 8 bars.
The sword can also be taken apart for Invention. It gives 32 materials, such as Base parts, Blade parts, Metallic parts, Sharp components, and Dextrous components. It is very light at 0.02 kg, so it will not slow you down.
