Description
The Rune longsword + 3 is a tier 53 melee weapon in RuneScape 3. It goes in the main-hand slot and uses the slash attack style. You need level 50 Attack to wield it. It works for both free players and members.
This sword is a rune longsword that has been upgraded three times. Each upgrade makes it stronger. At + 3, it has 928 accuracy and 649.3 ability damage. That is a nice step up from the base rune longsword, which has 850 accuracy and 612.5 damage. It also has a fast attack speed, so it hits often in combat.
Smiths can make this sword at a forge and anvil. It takes a rune longsword + 2 and 8 rune bars, plus level 50 Smithing. Making it gives 1,920 Smithing experience in total.
The sword is tradeable, lendable, and noteable. It can also be taken apart with Invention to get base parts, blade parts, metallic parts, and rare sharp or dextrous components. It weighs only 0.04 kg. This weapon is a solid pick for mid-level melee training or a good source of smithing materials.
