The Rune platebody + 2 is a tier 52 melee body armour in RuneScape 3. You need level 50 Defence to wear it. It is a rune platebody that has been upgraded twice at a forge and anvil.
This is tank armour made for the body slot. It gives 207.2 armour and a life points bonus of 780. It also reduces damage by 1.04% in PvM and 3.12% in PvP. These stats make it a solid pick for melee training and mid-level combat.
Players with level 50 Smithing can make this armour. It takes 10 rune bars and a Rune platebody + 1, and it gives 2,400 Smithing experience when finished. If you want more protection later, you can upgrade it to a Rune platebody + 3 with another 20 bars.
The Rune platebody + 2 can also be broken down with the Invention skill. It counts as melee armour and can give Cover parts, Deflecting parts, Plated parts, Strong components, and Protective components.
