Sapphire bolt tips are a Fletching item in RuneScape 3. Players attach them to mithril bolts to make sapphire bolts, or to bakriminel bolts to make sapphire bakriminel bolts. With level 7 Magic, these bolts can be enchanted into sapphire bolts (e) and sapphire bakriminel bolts (e).
Enchanted sapphire bolts have a 5% chance to trigger the Clear Mind effect. This effect steals 5% of the maximum prayer points from your opponent. That makes these bolts a smart pick for fights against players and monsters that use prayer.
Making the tips yourself takes level 56 Fletching. You use a chisel on a cut sapphire to make 12 tips at a time. Buying the tips ready to use skips the gem cutting and saves time when you want to fletch lots of bolts fast.
Sapphire bolt tips are also a required ingredient for the blessed flask, so players working on that item need a large supply.
The tips are stackable and tradeable, and they weigh nothing. They can also be disassembled for parts like base parts, head parts, spiked parts, and rare stunning components.
