Description

Sapphire bolts (e) are enchanted crossbow bolts in RuneScape 3. They are mithril bolts tipped with sapphire and enchanted with the Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Sapphire) spell. You need level 50 Ranged to use them, and they must be fired from a rune crossbow or better.

These are tier 50 bolts with 480 ability damage and a max hit of 720. Their special power is the Clear Mind effect. It has a 5% chance to trigger and steals 5% of your target's maximum prayer points. This works with auto attacks and abilities. Multi-hit abilities like Rapid Fire can trigger it on each hit, and Ricochet can trigger it on each target it strikes.

The trigger chance can go higher. With the Ranged cape perk it rises to 6%. With the Elite Seers' Village achievements it rises to 7%. With both, it reaches 8.4%.

Sapphire bolts (e) are a smart pick for PvP and any fight where draining prayer helps. They give solid tier 50 damage plus a bonus effect that wears down your opponent. Stock up and keep your quiver full.
