Description
Silver dust is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is made by grinding a silver bar in the bone grinder at the Ectofuntus. This is the only way to make it. A pestle and mortar will not work on a silver bar, unlike most ground Herblore items.
Silver dust has one main use. It is an ingredient in the Guthix balance potion. Players use this potion on Vampyre juveniles, Vampyre juvinates, and Vyrewatch outside Darkmeyer. The dust has no other use besides this potion.
Making silver dust needs only level 1 Herblore. Each grind gives 1 Herblore experience and takes 4 to 6 game ticks at the bone grinder. That is about 2.4 to 3.6 seconds each.
Silver dust weighs 0.15 kg. It is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be equipped or stacked. It also has a higher exchange value than a plain silver bar. The dust can be disassembled for 0.1 disassembly experience, with a 98.9% base junk chance. Disassembly can give Simple parts often or Variable components rarely. Grab silver dust to make Guthix balance potions without the grinding trips.
