The skewer stick is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is a sharp pointed stick that is quite resistant to fire. Players make skewer sticks by cutting a thatch spar with a machete. Thatch spars come from the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. Cutting any thatch spar gives 3 to 6 skewer sticks.
The main use for a skewer stick is cooking. Players can put a spider carcass on the stick to cook a spider on stick. Making one is a medium Karamja achievement called Arachnophagia. That makes this item handy for anyone working through the Karamja tasks.
Skewer sticks are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing. They can also be disassembled for Invention. Disassembly gives Simple parts most of the time, with a 99 out of 100 chance. It gives Variable components rarely, with a 1 out of 100 chance. The base junk chance is 98.9 percent.
