The spider on shaft is a members-only food item in RuneScape 3. It is a roasted Jungle Spider threaded onto an arrow shaft. When eaten, it heals a random amount of health between 70 and 100 life points. The arrow shaft is destroyed when the spider is eaten.
Players normally make this item on Karamja during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. It takes a spider carcass from a Jungle Spider and an arrow shaft. Cooking it on a fire needs level 16 Cooking and gives 80 Cooking experience. Level 48 Cooking stops it from burning. Hudo, the gnome grocer in the Grand Tree, also sells this item.
The spider on shaft is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 0.9 kg. It can also be disassembled for Invention materials.
