Description

The spider on shaft is a raw food item in RuneScape 3. It is a raw spider threaded onto an arrow shaft. Players make it on Karamja during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. To craft one, kill a Jungle Spider to get a spider carcass, then use an arrow shaft with the carcass.

This item can be cooked on a range with no utensils needed. Cooking it takes level 16 Cooking and gives 80 Cooking XP. Once cooked and eaten, it heals a random amount between 70 and 100 life points, and the shaft is destroyed.

Hudo, the gnome grocer in the Grand Tree, also sells this item. It costs 10 coins less than the spider on stick sold by the same vendor.

The spider on shaft is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be equipped or stacked. It weighs 0.9 kg and has a buy limit of 1,000. It can also be disassembled for 0.4 disassembly XP. Disassembly often gives Organic parts, sometimes gives Crafted parts, and rarely gives Living, Healthy, or Enhancing components. This makes it a handy pick for players training Cooking or gathering Invention materials.
