Description
The Steel chainbody + 1 is a body armour piece in RuneScape 3. It is a steel chainbody that has been upgraded once at an anvil or forge. This upgrade gives it better stats than the normal version, with 75 armour for melee defence.
You need level 20 Defence to wear it. It works well for low level players who train combat and want more protection without high skill requirements. The item is free to play, so any player can use it.
Players make this armour with the Smithing skill. It takes level 20 Smithing, at least 5 steel bars, a regular Steel chainbody, and a hammer. Making it gives 375 Smithing experience.
The chainbody is tradeable, so it is easy to buy and sell. It is light at 0.025 kg, and it can be sold to a shop or turned into coins with High Alchemy for 1,000 coins. Players with the Invention skill can also disassemble it for parts like cover parts, plated parts, and deflecting parts.
This is a simple and useful armour piece for new players building their first melee gear set in RS3.
