Description
The Steel ore box is a Mining tool in RuneScape 3. It stores ores while you mine, so you can keep mining longer without trips to the bank. It holds every ore from copper up to coal, plus silver ore. It also holds an unlimited number of matching stone spirits.
The box starts by holding 100 of each ore. As your Mining level goes up, most ores can be stored up to 120. The Everything Is Oresome and Everything Is Still Oresome achievements raise the cap even more, up to 150 of each ore. Silver ore stays at 100.
The Fill option loads all matching ores and stone spirits from your backpack in one click. You can also add the box to your action bar and fill it with a keybind. Ores in the box do not add to your carried weight. You empty the box at a bank, a bank deposit box, or the metal bank.
This box is free to play and tradeable. With level 30 Smithing, you can upgrade it into a mithril ore box at an anvil using two mithril bars. All contents carry over when you upgrade.
