Studded leather boots are ranged tank armour in RuneScape 3. They are part of the studded leather armour set, which is a step up from plain leather armour. You need 20 Defence to wear them.
These boots are tier 20 and fit in the boots slot. They give 15.8 armour, a 100 life points bonus, and a 0.4% PvM damage reduction. They work well for low level rangers who want more defence while training or fighting monsters.
Members can craft studded leather boots at level 43 Crafting. To make them, add steel studs to a pair of leather boots. This gives 40 Crafting experience. Making studded leather armour also counts toward daily challenges.
The boots can be disassembled for Invention. They count as ranged armour and give 6 experience, with 4 materials and a 78% base junk chance. Possible materials include cover parts, padded parts, tensile parts, evasive components, and protective components.
The full studded leather set includes the coif, body, gloves, chaps, shield, and these boots. The boots weigh 0.453 kg, so they are light and easy to carry.
