The Tarromin seed is a Farming seed in RuneScape 3. You can plant it in a herb patch if you have level 19 Farming. When the crop is done, it gives you grimy tarromin herbs.

Each planting uses one seed. The seed grows in 1 hour and 20 minutes. It grows in four stages, and each stage takes 20 minutes. Planting the seed gives 16 Farming experience. Each herb you pick gives 18 more experience. A patch gives at least 3 herbs, and better compost can raise that number. The crop farmer outfit and master farmer outfit each give a small chance to save a harvest that would be lost. A nearby gardener will not watch over this crop.

Tarromin seeds are a solid pick for players training Farming at low levels. They need a higher level than marrentill seeds, so they are a good next step. In the game, these seeds drop from monsters like moss giants, ogres, and aberrant spectres. Players can also get them by pickpocketing farmers or through Managing Miscellania. Buying them saves you that grind, so you can plant right away and grow your Farming level fast.
