Description

The Tribal fin is a rare item in RuneScape 3. It is a key part needed to make the terrasaur maul, a powerful two-handed weapon. The fin looks sharp like a blade, and it is deadly when put together with the right parts.

Getting a Tribal fin the normal way is hard. It only drops from the Oculi apoterrasaur, a level 94 Hunter dinosaur, at a rate of 1 in 1,000. Hunting it also needs Raw asciatops meat as bait. Buying the fin skips all of that grinding.

To make the terrasaur maul, combine the Tribal fin with a superior long bone, volcanic fragments, and dinosaur scales. You need level 93 Crafting, plus a needle and thread. Making the maul gives 1,000 Crafting experience.

The Tribal fin is a members-only item. It is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 1 kg. It cannot be equipped and does not stack. It can also be disassembled for Invention, with a special chance to give Rumbling components. Anyone working toward the terrasaur maul will want this fin.
