Description
The uncut moonstone is a teal gemstone used in the Crafting skill in RuneScape 3. With level 67 Crafting and a chisel, players can cut it into a moonstone. Cutting one gives 167.5 Crafting experience.
Moonstones matter because they can be crafted into moonstone jewellery after learning from the Former Master Crafter. This jewellery is strong for Necromancy players. The moonstone ring enchants into the Ring of Imbuing, which gives 10% extra runes when runecrafting. The moonstone necklace becomes the Alteration necklace, which boosts alteration glyphs by 20% during rituals. The bracelet becomes the Passing bracelet, which teleports players around the City of Um. The amulet becomes the Conjurer's raising amulet, which gives a +46 Necromancy damage bonus and makes conjured spirits hit 5% harder with basic attacks.
In game, uncut moonstones come from ritual disturbances during Necromancy rituals, ghost implings, ghost impling jars, Thalmund's Wares, and bosses like Nakatra, Vermyx, and Kezalam. Cutting moonstones is also needed for The School of Jewels achievement.
The uncut moonstone is tradeable and noteable. It can be disassembled for parts like clear parts, delicate parts, and smooth parts.
