Description
Unfinished broad bolts are incomplete broad-tipped bolts in RuneScape 3. They are the crossbow version of broad arrows. Once finished, these bolts are used to fight turoth and kurasks on Slayer tasks.
To finish them, add feathers at level 55 Fletching. Each set of 10 bolts gives 30 Fletching experience. You must first unlock the ability to make broad-tipped bolts as a Slayer reward. Many feather types work, such as standard, stripy, orange, blue, yellow, red, and wimpy feathers.
Finished broad-tipped bolts need level 50 Ranged and level 55 Slayer to use. They deal 480 ranged damage, the same as runite bolts, but they cost much less. This makes them a popular pick for training the Ranged skill without spending too much.
Unfinished broad bolts also help with the Invention skill. They can be disassembled 50 at a time. They give base parts, head parts, spiked parts, and stunning components.
