Description

Unicorn horn dust is a Herblore ingredient in RuneScape 3. It is finely ground horn of a unicorn. The dust is stackable and very light, so it is easy to keep in your bank or inventory.

This dust is used to make some of the most helpful potions in the game. Mix it with a clean marrentill to make an antipoison potion at level 13 Herblore. This potion stops poison damage for 86 seconds and gives 50 XP. Mix it with a clean irit at level 48 Herblore to make a super antipoison. That potion stops poison for 346 seconds and gives 106.3 XP.

Unicorn horn dust is also a key ingredient in sanfew serum, which needs level 65 Herblore. The dust turns a super restore into Mixture - step 1, the first step toward the finished serum. A sanfew serum can even be used as a weapon against Nail beasts.

Making this dust yourself takes time. You must grind unicorn horns one by one with a pestle and mortar, or use the Telekinetic Grind spell at Magic level 85. Buying the dust ready to use lets you skip the grind and train Herblore right away.
