Description

Clean marrentill is a members-only herb in RuneScape 3. It comes from cleaning grimy marrentill, which takes level 9 Herblore and gives 5 XP. It is the second lowest level herb in the game.

This herb is a key part of low-level Herblore training. Mix it with bear fur to make a defence potion at level 9, which boosts your Defence level. At level 13, mix it with ground unicorn horn to make antipoison, which cures poison and gives a short time of poison immunity. At level 18, it helps make Guthix rest, a potion that heals and restores run energy. It can also be ground with swamp tar to make marrentill tar, which is used to bait orange salamanders in Hunter and as ammunition.

Clean marrentill also helps with Prayer training. Use it to light incense burners at an altar for bonus XP, or use it to make auto-sanctifiers and marrentill incense sticks. Lighting a burner with a tinderbox needs only level 1 Firemaking.

The herb is tradeable and noteable. It weighs 0.007 kg and can be grown with level 14 Farming.
