Description

The whip vine is a rare item in RuneScape 3. It drops from mutated jadinkos in the Jadinko Lair. Players use it to upgrade the abyssal whip into a stronger weapon.

Attach the whip vine to an abyssal whip to make the abyssal vine whip. This adds 48 damage and 208 accuracy. The upgrade turns a tier 70 weapon into a tier 75 weapon. You need level 75 Attack and level 80 Slayer to attach the vine and use the weapon. These levels cannot be boosted. The vine can be removed safely at any time. It also works on painted whips.

The abyssal vine whip has a special attack called Vine Call. It costs 60% adrenaline and hits enemies in a 3x3 area with damage over time. This makes it useful for fighting groups of monsters.

The whip vine can also be used on a wyrm spike to make a lava whip with 20% charges. Extra vines recharge the lava whip by 20% each time.

This is a members only item. It is tradeable and noteable. It saves hours of hunting mutated jadinkos, since the drop is very rare.
