Description
The Wizard robe top is a piece of magic armour in RuneScape 3. It is a free-to-play item that goes in the body slot. It has no level to equip, so any player can wear it. This makes it a common pick for beginner mages who want magic protection early on.
It is a tank armour piece in the Magic class. It is tradeable, equipable, and noteable, but it does not stack. It weighs 0.907 kg and is always kept outside dangerous areas when a player dies.
The robe top drops from Wizards in the Magic Guild and Spellwisps at the Wizards' Tower. Other monsters, such as Imps, can drop it too. Some shops sell it as well. Players can also craft one with a needle, thread, and two strips of cloth, which gives 10 Crafting experience.
Members can dye the robe top black with a vial of black mushroom ink. The stats and free-to-play status stay the same after dyeing. The item can also be disassembled for materials such as Cover parts, Magic parts, Deflecting parts, Powerful components, and Protective components.
