Description

The RS3 Yew plank is a members-only item made from yew logs. It is used to train the Construction skill and to upgrade buildings at Fort Forinthry. Each plank weighs 0.8 kg. Planks are tradeable and noteable, but they do not stack.

Yew planks have a few key uses. With Construction level 70, four yew planks can be turned into one refined yew plank at a sawmill workbench for 96 Construction experience. With Construction level 60, five yew planks and a hammer make a vine frame at a Hops Patch for 75 experience.

Players can also disassemble yew planks for Invention. Each plank gives 2.2 Invention experience with a low junk chance of 4.2 percent. Disassembly gives simple parts most of the time and crafted parts the rest of the time.

Making these planks yourself takes time or money. It needs Construction level 70 at a sawmill, coins paid to a plank maker, or Magic level 86 for the Plank Make spell. Buying yew planks skips those steps, so players can get right to training Construction and building up Fort Forinthry.
