Description

Adamant bolts (unf) are unfinished crossbow bolts made from adamantite in Old School RuneScape. They are adamant bolts before feathers are added. Players make them by using an adamantite bar on an anvil with a hammer. This needs level 73 Smithing. Each bar makes 10 unfinished bolts and gives 62.5 Smithing experience.

Adding a feather to each bolt turns it into a finished adamant bolt. This needs level 61 Fletching and gives 7 experience per bolt, or 70 experience per set of 10. Finished adamant bolts work as ammo for an adamant or rune crossbow.

These bolts can also become stronger ammo. Ruby bolt tips can be added at level 63 Fletching to make ruby bolts. Diamond bolt tips can be added at level 65 Fletching to make diamond bolts. Both types can be enchanted with Magic for extra effects.

Adamant bolts (unf) are stackable and tradeable, so they are easy to hold in bulk. Many players buy them to train Smithing and Fletching, since adamant bolts, ruby bolts, and diamond bolts are always in high demand. A stack of these bolts saves time on making the bars yourself.
