The Adamant crossbow is a one-handed ranged weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is a members-only item. You need level 46 Ranged to wield it. It is stronger than the mithril crossbow but weaker than the rune crossbow. It can fire bolts up to and including adamant bolts.
This crossbow has a ranged attack bonus of +78. Its attack range is 7 tiles. If you use the Longrange style, the range grows to 9 tiles. You can also pick the Accurate style for more accuracy, or the Rapid style to shoot faster. It weighs 6 kg.
Players can also make this crossbow with the Fletching skill at level 61. First, cut a mahogany stock from mahogany logs. Then add adamantite limbs to the stock with a hammer. Last, string it with a crossbow string. Making one from raw materials gives 164 Fletching experience in total.
The Adamant crossbow is a solid mid-level choice for training Ranged. It works well for players who have passed the mithril crossbow but do not yet meet the needs for a rune crossbow. It is a simple and useful step up for any ranged build.
